Specialist Marketing for Diglis Water
As our client’s regional flagship development, Diglis Water demanded a launch campaign with far reaching appeal and genuine stand-out. We were tasked with developing a full ‘brand’ identity for Diglis Water, including naming the site (after its location at Diglis Dock) as well as individual phase names (named after famous canal boats that once used the locks at Diglis).
The personality of the site needed to reflect a relaxed, upmarket tone, appealing to an audience eager to be part of the next stage in the ongoing evolution of Diglis Basin. Our launch theme centred around telling the story of the site, with particular reference to its historic past. We told this story in words (Tales of the Riverbank) and images (specially commissioned local area photography), developing a striking visual style incorporating strong black and cream as a backdrop to photography. This was applied to a full suite of marketing material, from site hoardings, to 48 posters, bus sides and advertising.
We also designed all collateral for the on-site Marketing Suite, using materials naturally associated with dockside living. The campaign was a huge success – a series of launch events, along with both teaser and tactical advertising resulted in a significantly high level on forward sales.
